I'm taking a short break as things have been busy around here lately.
I do have some walls made and will submit them after the Holidays.

I've been busy!

I've actually been playing the game lately! First I had to set up some teens to get them through Uni (that took me a week) and then into apartments.
I'm not quite sure how I feel about apartment living though. I'm so used to the house thing and wonder if my Sims are saving any money cuz my apartments are (of course) expensive, lol.
I think it's just that you get so used to playing & setting up the game a certain way and I just have to get used to it.

New Grand Child!

I haven't blogged in awhile and I thought this was news to announce, because I'm sure happy about it :) Our daughter just had her second baby.

Yep, we have a new baby boy in our family that just arrived yesterday.
He's 9 pounds 9 oz and is 22 1/12 inches long, has reddish blond hair and according to his father...has big feet. lol
He's gonna be a tall one. His dad is 6'7" and mom is pretty tall too.

Hubby and I will get to see him tonight. I'm excited!

Colonial Bath Rugs

A few downloaders reported a problem with the file of the "Seasons Colonial Bath rugs". The problem has now been fixed and checked on my desktop. The files are all in the zip, but when downloading it still says it's empty. I'm working on it.

I've been playing the game like crazy, but only burned it last April. I had six students nearly done with Uni. :(

All my textures, all my downloaded meshes...from various places...I don't wanna even think about it.

Hi Again Kids!

Okay kitchen is done.. no more excuses for me.
'Puter is like brand new, actually I could have gotten a new one for the price we paid to upgrade this one. I have a great graphics card with it's own fan and more power..and I needed a new DVD drive even though I got it replace a year ago....so my 'puter is like shiny new and I'm happy.
Now for what's coming up. I recolored most of the Seasons country objects and I have added a surprise. It was something I wanted recolored. You'll have to wait and see.
I have the screenies done, now to size them to package up the stuff and upload and I'm done.

Oh wait! One more thing I have to do...I haven't responded to everyones grand comments and I'll be doing that as well. Didn't fiveget anyone...really!

I May Be Taking A Break

First of all Seasons sucked the life out of my computer so...I need to make some changes. I don't know when or how long this will take. I need to increase my power supply, get a better graphics card and more RAM. I've been talking to some knowledgeable people here in the Sims community who are very helpful since I know absolutely nothing, and my husbands answer is to just call Dell, but I don't trust calling Dell until I know more techie stuff. Lol. Now he is wanting to know what my techie friends are suggesting.
Secondly I am having my kitchen torn out and a new one put in and I was so hoping that I could hide away at my computer while this was going on, but my game just lags and I have to have the graphics set very low or I am in deep doodoo with my game.

So kids if I submit anything it may not be for awhile.

Uh Oh!

Nancy's obsessed with recoloring clothes! This is not good, I will get no sleep.

I'm starting off with Maxis meshes. Don't want to mess up someone else's hard work yet. Lol. I don't know when I will upload them as I first have to make models and figure out the pic taking.

I'm pleased with them so far. Hope they look as good in game, as they do in Body Shop. ????? We'll see.

I finally finished two sets which I will upload 1-10 after I get some sleep. lol.

There were sooo many interruptions these past two weeks. I actually started these sets the week before Christmas. Anywho I hope you will like them.

We've Been Sick

Sorry everyone for not updating in over a week. I had that stomach virus and now my husband has it so I will be caring for him for the next few days.

I will get to responding to my comments soon and finish my next project which I began after Christmas but was unable to complete, sometime during the week...as long as we stay well and out of virus way.
