Indian Inspired Living II
Due to popular request, I have created a second set to go with my Indian Inspired Living set. This one focuses on the dinnigroom. It is set to puplish February 2, and the preview image can be found here.I am also working on a matching bedroom suite (and possibly a Nursery - but not sure yet) :).
In the food category I am currently working on the Mexican Cusisine (as promised) and, as some of you may have guessed, Indian meals will follow :).
Storybook Highchair Update!
I was just informed today that there seems to be an issue for some with the frame recolors not working correctly on the Storybook highchair mesh. I just updated it and it should work for everyone now. If you have experienced issues please redownload it now . Sorry for the inconvenience.Sushi update
I have finally finished the 3 Sushi combos. They will be available later this month. A sneak peek is available hereUpdate!
Happy new year to everyone!I just finished uploading (to publish tomorrow) a new mesh set consisting of 18 objects. This set is made to match Maxis' OFB Storybook theme. There will also be several recolors available within the next week. Details can be found in my creations thread
For those patiently waiting for my Sushi, it's being finalized right now and will be the next set published after the Storybook sets, followed by the poll winning Mexican cuisine! Updates with preview shots coming asap!
Current creations
I just finished uploading my Indian Inspired Living set as well as 3 recolor sets:RC 1 - in warm browns & green , RC 2 - in cool lilac & turquoise
and last but not least RC 3 - in rich red velvet & olive green.
I will also be adding a few Theme/Holiday donwloads in the next day or so.
I am currently still working on the sushi set, the prep/cook/serve states are completed just need to line up the eat states (Sims eat with their hands). As soon as that's working correctly I will have 3 sushi meals. I'm estimating they will be up for download early January.
As per poll results, the next ethnic food set will be Mexican, again this should be available in January (estimate mid month).
I am also going to create the two other ethnic food sets from the poll. As I just finished an Indian inspired living set, this one may follow Mexican; although with Valentine's not far away I may take a break to create some lovely baked goods first.
Japanese Cuisine
As promised, here is a sneak peek at the three dishes I've finished: Udon Soup, Soba Noodles and Miso Soup; as well as the new custom Japanese "Sakura blossom" dishes. Remaining 3 meals plus Sushi coming asap. ,Sim Food
Many of you are patiently waiting for my Japanese Cuisine, therefore I thought an update was in order. I have finished 3 dishes (Miso Soup, Udon Soup and Soba noodles) and am working on 3 more (Tempura, Terriyaki, Gyoza). I should have some sneak peek images ready to share later today, and hopefully the set will be finished for publication next week. The Sushi will be a separate set of, most likely, 3 different meals. I'm also contemplating some sweet ice, but not sure yet on that one as Sims would have to eat it from a bowl. I am also currently working on two tutorials- one explaining how to create morphs (needed in food creation as well as some objects, like the crib rails), and the other specifically for food creation, both Maxis food recolors and new meshed, working food. These tutorials should be available here at TSR by January.More Food
I've been getting quite a few requests for more food, so I thought it'd be appropriate to update my blog with this info rather than sending that many PMs. :)I am currently working on the following sets: Chinese, Japanese, Sushi, and Mexican. They should be published in the next 2-3 weeks.
Although I haven't started on the following, these are on my to do list: UK, German, Spanish
I am also thinking of sets such as deli (soups, subs & sandwiches), general seafood, easy microwave dishes, sweet treats, cookies, just desserts, cakes, pies & more...
I think the list is pretty much endless :)
Although I may take a break from food here and there to create some object sets, I am planning to create most (if no all) of what's on my list .
If I have missed any great ideas, please feel free to send your suggestion to me via PM. I can't promise I'll be able to make it, but I'll definitely consider it.
