California here I come!

Well...It's been awhile...In the 80 's and 90's when I was still an airline hostess  I frequented the US on a an almost weekly basis. Back in the seventies and early eighties I even lived in California. I lived in the East bay Area, close to San Francisco and in Anaheim, next to Disneyland. End of August my husband has a big congres he is going to attend, I am coming along. The congres will be 4 days and after that we will take the car and head up north! Have friends (or maybe I should say: my former "host family sisters" who live in Sonoma and just south of SF. Have to plan the whole trip still. My husband has never been to California! Stop in Yosemite, Hearst Castle...Carmel...Highway one...Ofcourse San Francisco, Sausalito, Eureka...and any other place if you have a good tip!

Needless to say I will miss you all for those three weeks, but it's just July, so I will be here for at least 2 more months!

Uploading stories

Well I was finally able to upload a new story thru the wizard and also able to edit and preview before submitting it. After getting two lovely comments I read it over and saw a spelling mistake. I went back and edited it again...saved the changes and for some reason noone can open the story. I can't either and it's not showing up on the main storylist. So...what I did, I re-uploaded the whole story. I hope this works.In the worst case two of the same stories will sit side by side...oh well, better two than none!

I still haven't figured out how to upload a sims3 story. Can anyone help me with that? I would love to do a story on Fred & Sean.

About a long list of 20 people who nearly won

I ran into the blog posted by gissence and after reading it I was also just curious which creations on the "list of 20" just didn't make the shortlist of 6. Congratulations to the winners ofcourse! Needless to say!  It's good I'm no cat...it would kill me (being this curious)... It would be a nice recognition of the runner uppers...

Canal Street...Tricky Stairs

Well, personally I like Canal Street very much, that's also why I moved my Simself there... I did some major re-arranging to create room for another stair leading up to second floor, thus creating 3 new rooms...Maybe I'll re-upload the expanded version, have to tell my Simself to pack her bags...She won't be happy...

Story telling in Sims3?

I would love to do a story, wonder when that option is going to be available or am I going too fast?

Still have some storytelling to do in Sims2 a well...

I had my lates t poll up for quite some time. The questions were Of whom one would like to read another story or update and the second was how many screenshots a story should be to make it fun to read: Well here are the results:

Almost 50 % would like to more of the Coopers and:

1. 15 - 25 pages | 40.74% (11)
2. 25 - 35 pages | 29.63% (8)
3. 35 - 45 pages | 18.52% (5)
4. 45 pages - more | 25.93% (7)

Hmmm...Most of my Cooper stories were around 40 to 50 pages...Does that makes sence to you?

Does anyone know where these roofparts come from???

I'd love to upload the lot, and therefor need the URL where to get these...

It says Longone (long-tri-roof-part) but I googled it and nothing comes up...

Seeing your Sims in my houses

Maybe it sounds strange, but I would just love seeing your sims in a house of mine. I'd love to see what you have done to the place, how you redecorated it and furnished it. Build some additions to it etc. You may call me curious...wonder if anyone would do a screenshot for me... That would be so cool!

I just checked my poll. It seems I have to really see how my College grads are doing and do an update on them! I'll be busy with both the 5 of them and the Coopers! But, HEY...I love doing this stuff!
