Requests...a quick Q & A
Hey, Sam, I love your work. Do you take requests?Well, thank you very much, and yes I do take requests. Please understand that I cannot make everything that gets asked of me, as I have projects of my own that I want to complete as well. I will do my best to make what is in my range of expertise, but there are some things that I just am not interested in(anime characters) or simply cannot do(animal skins). I also ask that you be patient with me on the time factor for completing requests, as I have a real-life job and a family that also demand my time and attention.
How do I go about making my request?
Very simple. Just PM me with the particulars(be as specific as you possibly can) and include links to photos if you have some. If the photos cannot be linked to, and need to be sent via email, I'll reply back with my email addy so you can send those my way. If I have taken on your request, I will PM you again when it is completed, with links to preview pics for you to see. That way you can let me know if there are any changes you want made, or if you like it as is.
Can you make your stuff here at TSR be free?
Nope. No can do. The free selections are chosen by an automated program once a week (on Thursday), not by any individual so we have no control over what is appearing in the free section. Just keep checking back each week to see if the item or items you are wanting have been moved into the free section.
Formal & Designer
*Pics added* The next set of skins that I'm submitting from my now defunct Yahoo group will be a mix of formal and designer wear based on Barbie dolls. I will be including both "normal" and "formal" options for the formal wear. For the designer collection, you'll find a classic American jeans look from Ralph Lauren, a sleek black formal from Givenchy, a business suit from Anne Klein, a pink and black formal from Escada, and a simple black turtleneck and skirt combo from Donna Karan for her DKNY line.

Casual & Sporty
The first set of skins that I'm submitting from my closed Yahoo group will be a mix of casual and sporty. And since I am a Barbie collector, as with a lot of stuff you'll see from me, these are based on Barbie dolls. I'll be adding preview pics here throughout the day.

Closed a Yahoo group
Because my Featured Artist position here takes up most of my Sims creating time, I have decided to scale down some of my other Sims commitments. So, as of today, I have closed one of my Yahoo groups, Sam's Sims 3, which housed skins based on Barbie dolls.(I collect Barbie dolls, so they provide me with lots of inspiration!) I am in the process of moving those files over here to TSR. So be on the lookout over the next few weeks for those. I wil post blog entries with preview pics as I submit them.Fashion Fever Finale
*Edited to add preview pics* I am currently working on the last set of skins based on the Fashion Fever set of Barbie dolls and fashions by Mattel. Since I've had some questions about what the actual dolls look like that I am basing this stuff on, I have decided to include a pic of the real things side-by-side with my Sims version.

Dark Divas
*Edited to add preview pic* As you can see, I've been trying to alternate between heads and skins, so this next set from me will be heads. This set will be called "Dark Divas" since they are female, and in the dark skintone. I'll pop back in later to edit this entry when I have a preview pic of the set for you.
Got the Fever?
I'm working on more of my Fashion Fever collection, based on the Fashion Fever series of Barbie dolls by Mattel. **Edited on Mar. 16 to add preview pic **
Medium Maidens faces
I have just submitted a new set of faces. I am calling them "Medium Maidens", since they are all in the medium skintone. Look for those coming soon to TSR. Here's a preview pic in the meantime:
More Fashion Fever
I have just submitted my lastest set of skins based on the Fashion Fever Barbie dolls by Mattel. Those should be coming your way soon. Here is a preview pic for you:
Light Ladies preview
I have submitted the first group of "Light Ladies". Just wanted to give you all a preview of what they look like:
