Testing!

I haven't been able to update my blog for weeks, so this is a test. The image is my latest set. It was just this week my DSL was restored from the storm. They still have not taken care of several huge limbs broken and hanging over the wires. Its scary especially with the new snow storms coming.,

Snowbound

Two feet of wet snow on trees with leaves makes a terrible devastating scene. Not having heat or electricity, refrigeration, or clean water for six days has made me more appreciative of conveniences and the beauty that was. We were lucky our basement didn't flood, we weren't killed by someone speeding through an intersection with its traffic light out. We were lucky, ten people here weren't, they died. 400,000 people without power... Its a daunting task to restore it when confronted with 10 million tons of tree debris...such a sad scene. These pictures can't begin to show the scope of the damage. Downed wires, a streetlight(gas lantern) that stayed lit, the view of a backyard that will never be as it was. My server is expected to take a month to have restored. I am so glad to be here and despite all this, I still love winter. Stay warm. judi

Another new moulding, this one pretty plain with just a touch of fancy and my new favorite deep kick.. I made 36 walls in solid, up- to-date paint colors. Matching tiles will be available for each color. I will upload them in groups over the next three weeks or so. Here's the first set with Pink, Thistle, Rouge and Plum.
