November 6th is CRPS Awareness Day

This day was created to raise awareness about CRPS, show solidarity with those affected, provide information about the symptoms, treatment options and challenges of CRPS, and mobilize support for research and charities. CRPS Day is an opportunity to connect with the CRPS community and fight together for a better future.
So that this rare condition becomes better known and someday every CRPS fighter can be helped.

Symptoms of the komplex regional pain Syndrom
- Severe, ongoing pain that is considered disproportionate to the triggering injury
- Pain from non-painful stimuli, such as touch (allodynia)
- Increased sensitivity to stimuli, such as a cool breeze (hypersensitivity, hyperaesthesia)
- Changes in skin temperature, texture and colour
- Changes in skin, hair, and nail growth
- Swelling (oedema) and abnormal sweating
- Decreased range of motion, joint stiffness
- Muscle weakness
- Movement disturbances, such as spasms and tremor.
