Hi there!  I was just skimming through some of the recent blogs and this one popped up and I figured I'd throw my two cents in for you.  If you're thinking of submitting, the best thing to do is make sure the house looks nice outside and in, even if you don't furnish it, and then get some nice screenshots of various angles of the house.  Including a photo from a high angle so the downloaders can see inside the house to see the floor plan is a really good idea because houses that don't feature such pictures often get looked over when downloading.  Secondly, make sure the home is actually liveable (if you furnish it).  That means turning tubs and things so that Sims can access them.  And a comment to the no CC, good luck!  To accomplish such feats I have all of my objects and build and buy things in a seperate folder and I drag it to my desktop before I open my game with the plan to build a home.  That keeps me from cheating and sneaking in some custom patterns or something  I hope this helped you even just a little bit, seeing as how I've written like four pages xD good luck!!
