Yeah, I have no idea how the twins got that hair color. This picture was taken yesterday so now they're children and their hair is still the same shade. Their toddler sister, Anne, has their mom's hair color so it really is a mystery how the twins got dark brown. And no, Julie didn't cheat on Trey (they actually have the eternally faithful moodlet\:D).
