Thanks so much for the information Steve. It sounds just fabulous (though my husband claims I'd buy any rubbish labelled "The Sims 2"), and I can't wait until it comes out. Your review and pictures really brought this expansion to life for me but shame on you for making me covet it so badly!

Thanks for the wonderful insight! I esp love that Sims can now own holiday homes - something that was promised in Sims 1 but never delivered. Oh - and you are so lucky to get a hands on experience with the game before any of us.

,well at 72 yeas of age, I do not travel any more at all. so the sims are my great source of entertainment. And this sounds like a great chance for me to go on vacation, with out leaving Home! THANK YOU for a great artical.

i was promising myself to not buy the next ep, no matter what. well, your attractive and informative article about bon voyage...just changed my thinking. sounds like it will be one of the best eps made. big question...can children, toddlers, infants to on the trips with parents? in sims 1, the kids did go on vacation, will they in the sims2 vacations??? did you notice if there are more of those awful maxis clothing taking up precious space? if only they would let us delete some of the horrible creations of clothing and hairstyles they force on us, 95%ive never used, the remaining 5% were only good for the recolors or new meshes created by a group of most creative and talented artists. good article, or heck! its a terrific article, thank you. wanda

Really nice read Steve & you did really well with the screenshots in the time available. This looks like a fun expansion pack. Have they simmified 'je ne sais quoi' to 'jen e sais quoi'? I thought it was a typo and then saw the bit about the Jewelry, Jewellery and I wasn't sure.
