hey steve so a huge question on my mind about seasons is do kids, teens and education carrers get summer off? From school and work? also i love your site : ) and the challenges are awesome. oh and you might want to send out a little note thing about Sims Stories cause i went out and got the game and i exhausted both of the stories in one sitting so i would advise your community not to buy it it really isn't worth the 30 or 40 some dollars, but it did have some cool features - Laura

Thank you for the great insite. I have had my copy reserved for months and have read several diffrent articles on the new expansion. Hello again--well, so much for there not being *any* problems. I'm getting dumped out to desktop from my Sims 2 game sometimes while playing my new N013 (Stories N003) neighborhood. But I'll keep working on it! Hmm, maybe if I redecorate/delete Stories-only items before I copy the neighborhood over...

Hi Steve-- Thanks for the Stories preview! I'm a sucker for any Sims product, so I went ahead and bought it, and played through Vincent's story to the end. I found I liked the challenge aspect of it. But then the story neighborhood converted to free play, and I thought, free play without all the expansion packs & custom content I've come to know and love? But hmm... The file structure beneath the "Neighborhoods" folder in Stories looked the same as in Sims 2--and I wondered, would Vincent's Stories neighborhood work in my Sims 2 game? To find out I copied the Stories N003 folder to my desktop, renamed everything within to N013 (to preserve Veronaville), put the new N013 in my Sims 2 neighborhood folder, and lo and behold... it works so far! All Stories material (walls, objects, etc.) that isn't contained in Sims 2 has disappeared, but so far so problems. I have a new premade neighborhood and Sims to play with. Anyway, an unexpected benefit to playing Stories...

Hey..thx for the review on stories...uhmm..i bought it and i finished vincents story but im stuck at rileys where the goal is dylan wants to stay with me because i am "CHARMING". how do you get past that because i cannot get through it and ive tried everything that i can think of...if you could write me a message and tell me how or if anyone could that would be great. Thanks for your review on Stories. I've already pre-ordered my copy, but I didn't know exactly what to expect, and now you've cleared that up for me. Now all I have to do is wait until it arrives...I don't do patience when it comes to Sims 2! lol Cheers Steve!

I'm in the process of downloading Life Stories as I type and wanted to say thanks for the pre-review you did! I'm a long time die hard Simmer who has an 8 month old at home and has been trying to figure out how to get my Sims fix in without having it overthrow my life like it has since I got hooked on the original Sims! I have a feeling Life Stories might just be the ticket.
