Once there was beach in Bridgeport, right there where the docks are now. Before the clothespin-boom. A busy boardwalk, lots of summer guests, no industry - must have been a splendid time! And believe it or not, this cottage was on the beach block. Built as a summer home for the Marston Family one can still smell the salty sea and a bit of sun lotion (among other smells) when entering this beautiful small wood cottage.
The last of the Marstons, Edward, has recently passed away. He never could bring himself to sell this summer home. Too many happy childhood memories. Endless summer days on the beach, seagulls, sandy little feet.

Sure, this house seems a bit neglected. The paint is peeling, the garden overgrown and I do not know if this shower-toilet-cabin in the backyard is still up to date. But keep in mind that these old buildings often have a very good substance. So with a small amount of money, effort and time you can turn it into a cozy family home. Maybe this tiny little bedroom upstairs would make a bathroom?
Yeah, the beach is gone, too, but now you have the vibrant city right in front of you! Over all there way to much advantages in buying this property, right?
