Hi, Andy,

Got your comment in my guestbook. I had to come back and search your blog to remember what I wrote about! (Insert emoticon for "senior moment."

I'll be interested to see how the concept develops in your talented hands. It would be cool, for example, to have a perfectly "normal," modern structure that opens up into a fantasy realm, or a Medieval world, or even a strange planet (like going through a wormhole!). Ever see the old Twilight Zone episode, "The Bewitchin' Pool," where a couple of kids escape their bickering parents by diving into their swimming pool and coming up in a Tom Sawyer-like swimming hole where other unhappy children have come to live with a kindly old lady?

Well anyway, keep me posted on how your project is coming along. I'm looking forward to your tutorial.

Keep warm over there, here in upstate New York it's been like Spring all through January and now we're in the deep freeze. My car won't even start.

Hey Andy,

Looking at these screen shots, I had a thought, and maybe it's not doable (do-able? dooable?), but what would be way cool (jeez, I'm 51 and I say things like "way cool" -- I should be saying "groovy" is to build an underwater cavern, where Sims could swim down in your swimmable sea to an underwater entrance that takes them into a cave or even an indoor pool that they can exit into the basement of the house. 'Course, that indoor level would have to be above "sea" level or the part that's supposed to be dry would be covered with water.

What do you think? Something to stretch your brain around?
