Created for: The Sims 3
A small pyramid tomb with enough space for 1 bed and bath and a large eat-in-kitchen--not as huge as those in Giza or as lush as the tomb of Pharaoh Rameses II ... but your sim is neither in Giza or Rameses II, so get over yourself!

I was directly inspired by the tomb of King Tut, and the basement level is an almost exact sim-replica of his final resting place: I have a lot of books on his tomb and the treasures in it, and followed what the books said, so the Annex (where they found several of Tut's favorite 'chess' games), the Antechamber (where the remnants of his chariot and furniture was stored), his Burial Chamber (where his sarcophagus was located, and where I think 11 sets of oars were found, used to 'ferry' Tut's soul to the afterlife), and the Treasury/Treasure Room (where the mummies of Tut's 2 infant children were found, along with Tut's Canopic Jars inside of the huge gilt shrine guarded by the gold statues of the four goddesses Isis, Nepthys, Neith and Selket) are all taken from Tut's burial tomb, to the best of my addle-brained ability. I ust added the southern corridor, leading back up to the 1st Floor. I took out the sarcophagus bed in the Burial chamber, because I was having problems uploading this lot de to the Pets Patch and wasn't sure if the Bed had been updated or not, but you're free to put it back in if you want--it's included in Helen's set that I linked. I had fenced the bed off, in any event, because I didn't want sims sleeping there, but in the actual bedroom I designed.
The First Floor was purely me having fun. The Eating Area contains the kitchen and dining space that I am particularly fond of. There's a Bathing Area as well, along with the Sar-Netjer, the preparation room for making mummies, which doubles as a Study/Library of sorts for this tomb. The 2nd Floor is the Bedroom. I didn't add many electrical objects other than the stove and food blender stuff for the kitchen, so there are no TVs, radios, lightbulbs or things like that--no matter what the Ancient Astronaut conspiracy theorists say about Egypt! The TSR Creations below were used in this Creation.
Please do not re-upload as your own. Note: When I say 'tomb' I DON'T mean a WA tomb, I mean a burial structure--NO EPs or SPs are required; this lot was made with the base game only. You NEED to install the Extra CC Not Included files BEFORE you install this into your Launcher, or it won't work! Download ALL of EA's FREE sets and things, including Riverview, at The Store if the frakking Launcher keeps telling you you're missing something. Extra CC Included: -Syren's Loose Bones & Skeleton at http://the13thsim.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/3669014-happy-halloween -TSM food decor conversions at http://www.4shared.com/file/C1DLx3iT/12May-c.html http://www.4shared.com/file/NFSAeXvi/12May-d.html and http://www.4shared.com/file/y0WBjgMz/12May-e.html I think. I have no idea where all those miscellaneous Egyptian patterns came from, but I made some of my own to compliment them, since it was a great idea.
