From the wildly successful British ITV series Dowton Abbey comes Lady Sybil Cora Crawley. Lady Sybil is played by British screen and tv actress Jessica Brown Findlay. Sybil is the third daughter, born in 1895, of Lord and Lady Grantham. She is fiercely political. Her devotion to the cause of votes for women fuels her desire to break free from the social restrictions of the times. At one point, in rebellion, she dons a pair of pants, which were daring for women at the time. This somewhat shocks the family, especially the Dowager Countess.

Jessica Brown Findlay is a young English actress, best known for playing Lady Sybil Crawley in ITV's Downton Abbey and Emelia Conan-Doyle in the British comedy-drama Albatross. For Albatross she has been nominated twice for the British Independent Film Award. She is a graduate of the Arts Educational School in Tring Park, England. She earned her acting degree from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. She has appeared in other British miniseries and has two up coming films, one due out later in 2013.
