Born Fabio Lanzoni, on March 15, 1959 in Milan, Italy, he is known worldwide simply as Fabio. Fabio is an Italian fashion model, spokesperson, author and actor. He has appeared on the covers of hundreds of romance novels throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He has guest starred in several movies, on a number of television programs and made special appearances on The Bold and the Beautiful soap opera. Fabio is the first male romance writer to be published not using a pen name. His historic romance books include Pirate, Rogue, Comanche, Viking and Champion. His greatest passion in life is his love of motocycles and dirt bikes. He owns 200 motorcycles and dirt bikes including a championship Ducati. He has been a spokesperson for a number of products and organizations, including I can't Believe Its Not Butter margarine and the American Cancer Society.

The screenshots were taken in the EA Sims 3 world Sunlit Tides. The last screenshot of "Castaway Love" is a "romance book cover" I put together as a tribute to Fabio and the many fantasy men he has portrayed on the covers of the paperback books I'v loved.
