Bowden hall is a large and spacious palladian manor house, set in wonderful gardens. It would make an excellent home for a member of the aristocracy, as it provides an excellent opportunity for entertaining. It has a dizzying number of reception rooms; a gracious entrance hall, library, sitting room, garden room, dining room, breakfast room and galleried double height great hall to name but a few. From any ground floor room, archways open up into other reception rooms, providing a feel of grand openness. A wide staircase winds through the centre of the house, leading up to the first floor, which provides further beautiful spaces for entertaining, with an oval portrait gallery, elegant drawing room and music room. On the second floor are six very spacious bedrooms. The double height kitchen, with a separate servery, is a well equipped place for any cook. This property is well worth exploring, and can provide as much or as little space as required. Being unfurnished, it can be developed to meet the tastes and requirements of whichever family is lucky enough to reside there.
