Hi Dana . . .thank you for the lovely message on my latest pattern set . . .such positive feedback is always most welcome.

As to your questions . . I feel I am coming to the end of my usefulness as far as Sims3 is concerned. Hardly anyone creates objects [furnitiure build items etc] any more so the number of people looking for TS3 downloads is not high. . which means that, correspondingly, download numbers for individual items like mine are also low. . . . and comments are virtually non-existent . . .so I have no idea how stuff is being received. . .until I get a comment like yours. .

As for re-crating my patterns for Sims4 . . EA in one action wiped out any possibility of that . . they removed the CAST [create a style] option from the game menu. What that means is that individual patterns/sets such as I have created for TS3 for 7 years . .can't be installed into the game. Every item that IS installed . . furniture, curtains, clothing, rugs, floors, walls . . the whole list in fact . . . already contains ALL the possible variations in colour/texture that can be used as options for that item. That means if the creator did not include a red, floral option in a brown sofa set . . then you cannot have a red floral sofa in your game . . .[well, you could recolour the set yourself outside the game and install it . . but only a small percentage of gamers , including me, would have any idea how to do that anyway . . and most arists forbid recolours . . . so I don't consider it a real option. ].

I could create wall sets with patterns on them . . .but that doesn't interest me . . and other artists have alrady been doing that for the 4 years since the game was released .

I have a small number of sets still to be published, a few paintings - ditto . . and a couple of lots still to finish and upload . and then I'll be saying . . thanks for the memories [or some such ] and fading into the sunset. In the meantime, just a bit of triviality . . my back catalogue contains around 5000 patterns and 750 paintings .. .so I hope you can continue to find something interesting for your game for a while yet.
