Spring in all her beauty does start to grow
& Soon in vibrancy she will flourish & all will glow
With promise of the summer we love & know
magic within our hearts will she sow
Frogs in joy do spawn & birds in joy do sing
in greeting to the new dawning Spring
Vibrant pink does blush in beauty the flowering Cherry
Leaves upon the tree's reborn do unfurl to flower & later berry.
Seeds burst & emerge, birds make ready to breed, & new chicks feed.
Blackbirds, blue-tits, thrush & lark we do hear & see
& their songs along with bright robin do hail the unveiling dawn
Mantles upon the hills begin glow, to rich hues of malachite we love & know
Rivers & ponds come alive with emerging life, toads, newts & tadpoles grow
Enchantment within our heart does spring in her beauty sow
soon to hear the buzzing of the bee's & the rustlings of the leaves within the trees
As beauty all around us does form & grow & our senses tease
winter past & new life emerging upon our beautiful land
within the highlands & lowlands, cradled gently by sand & sea
tides ebb & flow as within the sea, as new life does form, & show
whilst enfolding us with beauty & grace within the verdant land we love & know
