Well I spoke it fluently when I was VERY little.......but then for quite some time we didn't speak it that much once we moved back to the U.S. & then we spoke it for a short time when I was still pretty young because he had a stroke.  He lived for a few years after his stroke but his English wasn't as easy for him as Spanish so although I spoke it, it was only for bits here & there & I didn't learn how to write it.......so I was sort of spelling it by sound.   My Dad was an architechtural enginere (how to make buildings, bridges, & dams strong) & that was why we went from living in the U.S. to Mexico for a while.   Oh well......at least it was clear enough to get the main part of what I was saying.   Hope you had a nice weekend.
