Installation Instructions:

IMPORTANT!!!: Beach lots ARE different than regular lots, and if you don't know why I would suggest reading "The Hidden Rules of Beach Lots" tutorial in my Tutorials Pod so you know what to expect. http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Illiana/tutorials/view
The shortened version is:

* DO NOT turn beach lots to place them. Take them out of the bin and place them in whatever direction they are already facing. If you turn them, you may find they crash, or are buggy.

* Try to place beach lots in either the same neighborhood, or a REASONABLE match to the neighborhood, to avoid beach height problems.

* If items are floating on your beach, it is because you placed the lot in a beach spot that is LOWER than the downloaded lots beach. Beaches can't adjust like regular lots can...only the land areas of a beach lot adjust. So, if there are just a few things, grab them and they will drop back down where they should. If it's a LOT of things, I would suggest trying to find another spot for the lot, or even better, to place it in the original build area.

James - NO mod should ever be included in a lot you intend to upload to someone else's computer. You could change any beach lot to do whatever you want to...with the exception of Apartment lots...as long as you don't intend to move it or share it. Once you decide to build something for someone else, however, THEY should decide what goes into their game. Not to mention that this mod would not change the fact that the lot would still readjust upon moving it to another location. Thank you for the info though! \:\)

I Have found what you have posted as download rules etc for beach lots to be completely truthfull. there is a mod at TMS2 that allows you to adjust the heigth of a lot area and the entire hood area, I dont remember the name off hand however I found it very usefull, especially withy beach lots
it requres nightlife and or university to operate effectivly
