Created for: The Sims 3

Modified for easier playability. This version of the China Base Camp has an upper floor with reading areas, chess, painting, telescopes and children's play corner. The lower floor has a large kitchen/lounge area, separate male and female bathrooms, separate male and female dorms and some double bedrooms. It was made on the original base camp site in China. No third party custom content or EA Store items used, but World Adventures EP is required.

IMPORTANT: Because of the way the game handles this type of Lot, you need to follow these instructions to make it work as a base camp. Ensure that you have the testing cheats enabled before proceeding (Open up the cheat box and type in 'testingCheatsEnabled true) - don't forget to disable them afterwards (testingCheatsEnabled false):

1) Go into edit China and open up the cheat box with Ctrl+Shift+C, then type in EnableLotLocking true. 2) Click on the EA base camp and then click on the padlock to unlock it. 3) Place a copy into your library in case you want it as a back-up. 4) Bulldoze the Lot. 5) Change the empty Lot type to Community Big Park and then place my Base Camp Lot. 6) Change the Lot type back to Community Base Camp.The Lot will have reset with the bin and adventure board to the left by the trees. 7) Go into build mode and move the bin and board to where you want them. 8) Go back into Edit Town and click on the Lots padlock to lock it again. 9) Open the cheat box once more and type in EnableLotLocking false.
