Built in the early 30's this house was home to the Jackson's. Home to Mr. and Mr. Jackson and there daughter. Being the first openly gay couple in Bridgeport at the time wasn't easy, to say they had it bad was an understatement. From vandalism to petitions being signed to run them out, they feared for they 3 year old daughter and moved as soon as they found a place in sunset valley where they were more welcome. Living behind this beautiful house that has been restored to what it is now.
