This Creation requires what's listed below in order to work properly.

Installation Instructions:

TO INSTALL YOUR Fireplace ...

(1) Place the Fireplace and Recolours in your 'Downloads' folder as usual.

(2) Find where you originally installed The Sims 2 game (not the expansion packs) and look for the folder TSDataResCatalogScripts. It is usually in THIS location:

C:Program FilesEA GAMESThe Sims 2TSDataResCatalogScripts


(3) Open the file 'fireplaces.txt' and find an empty space at the bottom of the page. Make sure you don't have a fireplace with the same number (fireplace 1002) if you do have then change the number to make it unique.

(4) Copy and paste the following block of text below into a space at the bottom of the file.

(6) Save and close the text file.


IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED NUMENORS SCRIPTORIUM DO THE FOLLOWING:

Copy the above script to Notepad and save the text file with this name:


1002_Fireplace -Modern Stone- Mantle_Fireplace2Tiles


Install the package files as normal and then double click on the
"Scriptorium_Fireplaces"shortcut in your downloads, place the text file in the folder that opens.
