I've been playing The Sims since the first game and have been an on-again, off-again player all of these years. I'm a sociologist and my husband is a tech nerd so this game is a funny place where our worlds collide. I would classify myself as an obsessive player; I get an idea that I want to see happen in the game and I obsess until I get it done. Then I wander off to some other hobby and pick it up again months later. I have all of the expansions and there is still a LOT that I haven't experienced.

I've been on the internet since AOL but technology isn't something that comes naturally to me so I often ask to have things explained to me like I'm 4. I've never had someone respond to that in a way that I didn't understand! So far I've really enjoyed all of the custom content the best (hands down) has to be the basket feature which (thanks to a notepad with the full address of the correct folder to cut and paste) makes installing it take seconds. That's as technically advanced as I get but yeah... still kinda proud. I try to leave comments for objects that have really been nice but I don't always have such an easy time navigating back so I might comment in 2 months when I find it again!
